Alex Orton-green aka (Yoof) aka Sonz of mecha has been making and Djing breaks for over a decade, having been behind some of breakbeat's biggest anthems such as Rocweiller,Malaga airport,Towerblockdreamz etc and being known for pioneering the tearout breaks sound.
The history behind the sonz of mecha stems way way back with releases and remix's on Mechanoise/Botchit & scarper/Bassrock/Cyberfunk/Supercharged/Tcr/Waveshape/Raveart.
and a list of collaborations with some of breakbeats finest artist's such as Tayo/DJ Mutiny/Dj Quest/J da Flex/Digital pimp/Control z/Mc Ken mac/Ed209/Noize Lawgiverz/Specimen A/BuBu/DJ Rapid/Anti science/Mc Profit and recent projects include working with Control z's latest alas Pyramid and Breakbeats very own godfather's Shut up & and Dance.

Yoof (Sonz of mecha) has toured all over the globe preaching the breakbeat bible for the last 12 years and in particular Andalucia (Spain), Which has rapidly become the capital of break's with massive festivals and partys every weekend. Yoof has been lucky enough to Dj at every single Summer festival earning the title "godfather of summer festival" which is now the biggest breakbeat festival in spain if not the world.(www.raveart.es)
